This international project brings together higher education institutions, vocational education providers, and industry partners from across Europe to strengthen competencies in developing AI-driven, green, sustainable, and circular business models. The project supports organisations in enhancing digital and green readiness, fostering innovation capacity, and equipping learners, educators, and professionals with the skills needed to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep technologies in sustainable business development.
AI4GreenBus focuses on the integration of AI, sustainability, and entrepreneurship through an innovative and cross-sectoral approach. Only by combining these dimensions is it possible to effectively address the challenges of the green and digital transition, foster sustainable innovation, and equip learners and organisations with the skills needed to create future-ready, environmentally responsible business models.
On this webpage, you will find the latest project updates, research insights, and practical outputs – including methodology guidelines, training materials and examples of innovative sustainable business solutions. It serves as a knowledge hub for educators, students, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers interested in leveraging AI for green transition and sustainable economic development.
The project was started in December 2025 and will run for 36 months. During this period, a wide range of activities will be implemented, including research and methodology development, training programme design, pilot testing, as well as interactive learning and innovation events such as business innovation bootcamps, hackathons in the Metaverse environment, training sessions for students and educators, and collaboration activities with industry partners.
