On 13-14 August 2026, the AI4GreenBus project partners were meeting in Riga to review the work completed so far, discuss the results and agree on the next steps in project implementation. The main objective of the meeting is to review the desk study and interview results and further develop the joint plan for the next stage – the development of the AI-SBMI training programme.
During the first day of the meeting at Turiba University, partners analyse the methodology and research results, review the overall project work plan and discuss the development of AI-SBMI Training.
To explore the opportunities offered by new technologies in education, one of the meeting sessions focuses on the Metaverse and virtual learning environments. Project partners had an opportunity to experience virtual learning applications and discuss how these technologies could be integrated into the learning activities developed within AI4GreenBus.
On the second day, the programme included the stakeholder seminar “What Businesses Really Need from Future AI Skills”, organised in cooperation with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The seminar brought together project partners, businesses and other stakeholders to discuss the AI skills that companies will need in the future.
